There will be race to determine the fastest car and judging for the “Coolest Looking”, the “Most Realistic”, “Best Paint Job”, etc. Registration / Qualification Opens at 10:00 am.; Closes at 1:30 pm. Congratulations to Brett Branscombe for his 2nd place finish, and Good Luck at the Championship!!

Cherry View Nature Center

Pack 268 will again care for the CVE Nature center during the summer months. We made such a difference last year, and our efforts were much appreciated.  Den assignments:

            June 9 – 23                    Den 89

            June 24- July 7               Den 1

            July 8 – 21                     Den 3

            July 22 – Aug 4              Den2

            Aug. 5 – 18                    Den 4

            Aug 19 – 31                   GS Troop 24506

What needs to be done? Weeding flower beds, picking up trash, fixing/monitoring bird feeders, trimming bushes under windows and deadheading plants.

Thank you to Master Gardener Lora Berg for coordinating the Nature Center care. Please contact Lora for ideas on Scout Learning Opportunities available in the Nature Center at lora.berg@frontiernet.net
